Increasing Service Provision

The last 12 months have seen a lot of change for Restorative Gloucestershire; a new police sergeant, case co-ordinator and facilitator have all joined the team and have brought with them different experiences, knowledge and ideas for moving forwards in the next 12 months. We have also increased our number of volunteer facilitators and introduced a training pathway for them to ensure they are mentored and supported.

New organisations have joined the partnership which brings exciting opportunities and challenges as it means that restorative practice is being used in a number of different settings. For example, where there is conflict within teams, breakdown in relationships within a family or linking in with local schools to reduce conflict between pupils. I am looking forward to developing the service further in the coming year.
